Es un grupo de Alemania del 1965.
Han echo muchas giras por Europa y Japón en 1978.
Tuvieron varios miembros. Los actuales (que todos estos empezaron al principio) son: Klaus Meine (voz), Matthias Jabs (guitarra), Rudolf Schenker (guitarra), Pawel Heimberg (bajo) y James Kottak (batería).
Han tenido bastantes discos: 21 albumes y 30 recopilaciones.
